If you’re reading this site it’s probably safe to assume you have a bit of an idea what the Nürburgring Nordschleife is all about. If you don’t, or even if you do, this three part series will be of great interest to you. It is a short film produced by BMWUSA called Born on the Nürburgring. The film includes interviews with regular Ringers (there’s even an Aussie accent in the mix), Sabine Schmitz and others. There’s also a brief snippet on the BMW Ring-Taxi. These youtube clips are shown as previously broadcast on the SpeedTV channel.

Apart from the desperately naff bits of footage that have been sped up, this is well worth watching. Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3 to be added over the next couple of days.
