VLN racing provides some great in-car footage for Nürburgring fans and this clip is no exception. The origin of the car’s engine, however, provides a bit of a mis-matched tale. The story goes it was sourced from an old Abt entered DTM Audi TT. So it’s an Audi V8 engine then. Well, no, its a BMW! When Abt was building their TT racecar they bought a race ready BMW engine. Or so the axisofoversteer website claims. Whatever the engine is it sounds great and it goes damn fast!
