Putting the ‘Ring’ into Nürburgring
I know spending a couple of days at the Nürburgring Nordschleife can set you back a fair amount of money; what with fuel prices, lap prices and car hire. But the price being asked for this two-year-old Vertu mobile phone on eBay takes the cake.
Back in 2006 Vertu released a Limited Edition ‘Racetrack Series’ with phones commemorating tracks such as Le Mans, Monaco, Silverstone, Monza, Indianapolis and, of course, the Nürburgring.
Back in the day the phones from the luxury cell phone maker cost over US$8000 each! There were also 51 box sets available, including all six Limited Edition phones, for the bargain basement price of €50,000. So, this used phone currently listed on eBay seems like a comparative bargain with a buy it now price of US$4599. Hurry, you have under three days left to secure your bargain!
