Here is a full lap of the Nürburgring at the wheel of BMW’s new Z4 GT3. The driver is Richard Göransson, who AUSringers readers will remember from the ‘Loaded’ M3 CSL.

Clearly, then, Richard knows his way around the Nordschleife. But an oil flag on entry to Wehrseifen, on an already greasy tarmac, would not be the ideal conditions he had in mind prior to taking the Z4 GT3 on its maiden run around the Ring.

Watch the clip to see how he gets on. I’m sure you will also enjoy the brutal efficiency of the sequential box and, of course, the lovely sound of that 4.0 litre V8.
