Our daily twitter rounds landed us this cracking link to a YouTube video of the entire 1973 German Grand Prix. That’s right, all two hours and seven minutes of footage. So far we’ve only watched the first half hour or so and it’s an astonishing piece of film that is worth checking out.

The race was won by three time world champion Jackie Stewart in his Tyrell-Ford. That’s him on pole in the image above (car #5). As an added bonus we’ve also included another clip featuring Stewart talking us through some of the finer points of driving an 1970s F1 car around the Ring.
