Thanks to Toyota Motorsport for this excellent photo of the Aussie flag at the Karussell. We first reported on our national emblem’s appearance at the Green Hell back in 2008.

Best guesses tell us the flag first appeared on the armco in 2006, or thereabouts, and it’s been claimed it was painted by local fans of Mal Rose Racing.
