With only two hours of 24 remaining the #3 Team Phoenix Audi R8 LMS ultra continues to head the field. You can never count on anything in endurance racing, but we’d forgive Team Phoenix for at least starting to think about what it might be like to win the greatest motor race their country has to offer.

The #3 R8 has completed 142 laps and enjoys a reasonably comfortable lead over the #65 Hankook-Team Heico Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3. Now in third is the #26 Mamerow Racing Audi R8.

All remaining Aussie and Kiwi crews seem to be charging towards hour 24 in good health and it was pleasing to hear Wayne Moore (NZ) speaking to Radio Le Mans a little while back.
