Want to know how fast a GT car can lap the full Nürburgring 24 hour circuit? The answer, according to Kevin Estre at the wheel of the Doerr Motorsport McLaren 12C GT3 is 8 minutes 10.921 seconds.

In the build up to the final Blancpain Endurance Series round of the 2014 season, the Nurburgring 100kms, we look back at the 12C GT3 around the fearsome Nordschleife circuit.

Earlier this year, McLaren GT factory driver Kevin Estre qualified the Doerr Motorsport 12C GT3 on pole position for the Nurburgring 24 Hours. The onboard footage shows the Frenchman’s blistering pace throughout the session, setting a record lap time of 8m 10.921s – more than 6 seconds quicker than the previous record, and 2.5s clear of his nearest rival.
