Renault Megane R26.R claims fastest FWD Nürburgring time
July 24th, 2008 Posted in Renault, VideoI hope you enjoy this video of the new Renault Megane R26.R—claimed, by Renault, to be the fastest front wheel drive production car around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Its time of 8 minutes 16.9 seconds is certainly very tidy when compared to others. For example, a BMW M5 E60 at the hands of Horst von Saurma clocked a time of 8:13. An R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R lapped in 8:22. Audi’s V8 RS4 is not too far ahead at 8:09 and the previous model BMW M3 E46 could only manage 8:22. Damn impressive from the feisty Renault then.
