The sun has returned, the rain gone away and a clear favourite for the race has finally emerged. It’s the #3 Team Phoenix Audi R8 LMS ultra. The car just came into pits from the lead on lap 130 and had enough time up its sleeve to return to the race in P1.

However, should the Audi falter the #20 Team Schubert BMW Z4 GT3 and #65 Hankook-Team Heico Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 will pounce.

All but one of the Aussie/Kiwi cars are still out circulating. Warren Luff (AUS) in the #24 Audi race experience R8 is the highest place, 16th outright, while Damien Flack (AUS) and his mates still lead the SP10 class in their BMW M3 GT4.

UPDATE: Just as we went live with this post it appears the #20 BMW, previously in second place, has hit trouble. The live timing screen has it down in P7 now, three laps behind the leading Audi.
